Abstract

|
The economic development for last few decades elevated nation's health level remarkably. Health manpower and facilities are improved. Social systems like health insurance system and social security system are implemented so that more chances are given to people to visit health facilities more easily at low cost enjoying longer life expectancy. In spite of all theses efforts, morbidity is increasing while mortality remains steady. Reflected from all these facts, it is proposed that nation's health policy should shift its direction from macro level to micro level to focus on specialized health promotion program directly trying to eliminate all health risk factors. We need planned health policy with more specialized topics. The planned health policy should include for each topic 1)target specification, 2)program implementation schedule, 3)program evaluation modules and 4)further development.
